73 roadrunner lower ball joint

Book states that upper and lower ball joints unscrew,have master rebuild kit all four ball joints are threaded but lowers on my roadrunner look pressed on no flats for socket like top ones any thoughts,book is service manual thanks in advance Ralph?????

I believe late in 73 a design change was implemented. Chrysler changed over to pressed in ball joints as used on the 74 B bodies.

Not sure of the changeover.

My February built 73 has screw.

My 73 RR was built in April 73, and has all screw type ball joints. If you have pressed in, then the lower arm must have been replaced with either late 73 or a 74 unit.
