73 rr console shift linkage install

Hey guys finally getting my tyranny put back in my car. My question is I can't remember if there is suppose to be a bracket mounted on the transmission that the rod goes through coming through the floorboard or if it slips into that casted bracket off the transmission. Also I can't remember if the linkage off the side of the transmission that the linkage slips into is suppose to have bushings. Thanks guys

Yep, "flat" metal bracket.

Seems like everyone looses that bracket.
