I have located a free set of disc brakes from a 1974 dart swinger. I have manual drums on my 69 coronet, will these work?

Yes

yepper......have that on my R/T....and a few other cars

No.

A search of this site turned up several posts on this subject. This one is from 65Dartman:

"Probably the least expensive way to go is locate a set of 73-76 A Body disc brake spindles. The are the same dimensionally as the 62-72 B body. No need to change the UCA or LCA. Both your upper and lower ball joints will work perfectly - during the swap would be the perfect time to change them if needed. Buy your calipers, rotors, bearings, brake hoses etc brand new. I'd also swap to a disc brake dual reservoir master cylinder. I did this swap on a 65 Coronet 44 I had as well as a 69 Charger."

you swap the spindles...and then install other spindles and new stuff..like pads/rotors/bearings/hoses/etc...done it at least 3 times...didn't need a prop valve or different master cylinder

Question: Any chance you can grab the upper control arms too? If so, I'd be interested in buying them from you for my '69 Valiant. I'd like to do the big ball joint conversion on it someday.
