74 Charger outer Wheelhouse

I purchased the AMD passenger side wheelhouse and have read it would need to be modified for a 74 Charger. I'm just in the process of removing the old rusted one so haven't tried it yet. Has anyone changed a 73-74 outer wheelhouse and can tell me where it will need to be modified. I've search and haven't been able to find what needs to be done. I emailed AMD, but they haven't replied. I would appreciate any help with this.

This is likely the same from 71-74. This is the outer wheelhouse that meets the trunk drop-off and trunk floor. The section circled in red goes under the inner wheelhouse, but it is flanged up a bit. For those of you that have done this before, did you hammer and dolly it flat or cut off the flange? This section on the left needs to be flat to be spot welded to the inner wheelhouse. Looking at original trunk photos of various years, I'm thinking this would be an issue for all years. I'm still hoping someone can point out what else has to be modified to make this fit a 74.
