74 Charger/worth saving?

Gold interior parts are kind of hard to find, and for some reason are double the price of other colors from Legendary, at least.

Good luck with that car. It looks like maybe about the same condition as mine give or take here and there.

Really???.....That sucks I was going to paint them white lol.I ended up getting the entire interior off of the guy less the two front buckets.I also found a guy having a hard time selling a tan console maybe I should have bought it???

I got the rear seat, bumper and trunk lid home today..I have to wait a few weeks to go out and get all the other interior parts.I also met a guy with the rear bumper, tail lights and front valance I need.

I think your quarters might be better than mine:)

Believe it or not I found a 73 in a junk yard near here.

It had one almost perfect quarter and one that was better than mine in the area mine is patched in.

We carted a generator and a sawzall through the sugar sand, and cut them off.

Trying to get close by the rocker was near impossible, so that will be fun, but I got both quarters, a perfect door and a bent hood to help me fix my bulge hood all for $160

When the lady (yes, lady) rang me up, I actually laughed as I was reaching for my wallet to pay!

How often does that happen?

Please keep us posted.

My Charger is on the back burner as I have started on the Coronet.

HA HA,,,,,,,,I'm not sure how far I'm going to go with this car, might just do a basic scuff and shoot because I'm still working on my Sundance.....Might just collect parts and store it until spring when my Sundance is done.....Either way I couldn't just leave all the parts at the swapmeet ;)

I'd keep it, these cars are getting rarer everyday. Speaking of rare, that thing has a factory rear sway bar??

I don't have a build sheet so I'm not 100% sure if it came with the rear sway bar or not.

I got some cool info on this Charger and forgot to post it...I bought it with out an ownership/title and had my bud who's a cop run the vin to make sure the car wasn't ever stolen...It wasn't :) The cool thing is the car was Registered back in July 1988 Plated for 1 year then never plated or re-stickered or re-registered ever again. So that means this cars been parked for 22 years.

I'd say no. I'll just come and get rid of it for you. lol
I say any car that can be saved should be. Can't replace'em with new ones.

Yeah, I'm not going to part it out.....Infact I lay in bead at night thinking about what color I'm going to paint it and how far I'm going to go with the resto....
I have a 1975 400 to put in it and I got the Tan interior so it's not going to be 100% original. I'll probably change the paint color to B5 blue or Hemi orange or something while I'm at it.I now have all the parts I need to build the car all except for a rear bumper, front valance and two front 1/4 floor pans.
