75&80 Reopening!

It's happening!
It's being cleaned up and paved as we speak. 75&80 will be reopened in mid July as a noprep track!

(Mainly doing bracket racing)

I thought I'd never be able to go to my local track again!

Can't wait to shake down the Mopars there!

Land was too contaminated for development.

Due to some legal shenanigans in couldn't be reopened under the Wilcom's ownership, but it was recently leased to a race promotor and they are reopening it under new leadership.

I met Bunny Berkett there 30 years ago. Was a good day. Glad to hear its reopening.

The locals made such a fuss over more development that the county had to deny the developers. The local roads and such couldn't handle the traffic. The county just put in a big development a little west and it loaded the roads.
Essentially the people won this battle

Friday nights we would load up the truck with the grill and stuff and back up to the fence at the 1/8 mile.
It is 10 minutes away we would be bored, hey let's go to the track. So much fun
Before it closed the first time it was voted one of the best tracks for spectators because of the view from the spectator side.
