Nice, we had a guy at Atco running a snowmobile engine in his quad that thing was stupid fast. Wanna say he was running 8's maybe 9's in the quarter.

LOL.. that was not 750 hp...hahahaha
Maybe that engine will wind up to that but there is no way that was 750 hp... I'd put it at 250 tops and even then I doubt it. Gettting traction at that power level would flip that thing in a heartbeat

"it never ran for more than a few pulls due to busted crank snouts. You can see this happening in the one vid as it shreads the belt."

Dont get me wrong I love the idea but I dont see 750 hp on display there.

That sled would not go anywhere but down as it dug a hole until the track shredded off it. My guess is that that engine makes that power around 12- 14k rpms as well or somewhere in that range. He never got close to those rpms.

I could be 100% wrong but I really dont think that was 750 hp or even close to it. But I do like it !

Considering a factory Arctic Cat F1100 Turbo puts out 180 horses out of the crate, Crazy horse pressure is possible. Not sure about 750 though. After 30 years of snowmobiling, I have yet to see a machine "flip" from the application of power. Wheelie and catwalk yes but not come back over. That would be interesting to see.

180 out of the crate is impressive for sure..LOL thats more than some cars...

I dont think you cant get enough traction quick enough to flip one either ...LOL ( I was exagerating)
maybe that things hits 750 I dont know...LOL I know that when my car is in the 600 rwhp range I can tell by the sever limited traction and the absolute violence of it and I'm in a 4000 lb car...LOL.. On a 500 lb sled ??? ... I dont see that being 750 hp ... but I could be 100% wrong but I hit 100 in a seconds and its scary enough on a flat road and I still cant unleash full throttle.. That much power on ice and snow and keep it that calm? Thats some hi tech shizznit right there.... I'm so pressed into my seat .... I dont see how he could hang on in that seated postion if he was unleashing 750 hp to the ground.
Again I could be 100% wrong ... I've driven snowmobiles at 100 before too

A turboed Suzuki Hayabusa can make 700hp, this guy is running nitro. I believe 750hp. In the video were he running on the lake. He's moving way fast!

Show me one..LOL
I see the 636 by Charlie Anstaett for the fastest mile 256.79 was done at around 480 though.

35 psi for the 636 and they turned it down for the mile run.

Yeah I dont see that being 750 to the track of that snowmobile but again wtf do I know..LOL... its ultra impressive none the less.... Even if it was 500 hp..LOL

cool beans

:iamwithstupid: 68spsat yeah you put wings on it, probably it would fly...LOL.. I believe the AHDRA Harley Nitro Class bikes make about 750hp or so/on Nitro Methane, I think the best, they're deep into the low 6's in the 1/4 mile/220mph+, that would be crazy in either case on a bike or especially on a sled... Poor guy, You'll just end up fixing one weak link, you'll just ultimately find another weak link to break...LOL.. wannadrag that 60's Snow dragster is cool as hell...

I saw some low 8 sec. 1/4 mile sleds @ Brainard Minn. a few times...

I was thinking they were in the 600 range but then I saw this.

"March 11, 2005 Perhaps the most insane news we've posted on Gizmag this week comes from the inaugural DynoJet Horsepower Challenge held last weekend in Valdosta, Georgia, USA. Basically, DynoJet make motorcycle dynamometers and they provided a bunch oif them and anybody could roll up and the guy whose bike made the most horsepower won. The winning fellow was Hank Booth of Great Falls, Montana, whose highly modified 1999 Suzuki 1300GSXR Hayabusa motorcycle with an NLR turbocharger cranked out an incredible 701.32 horsepower."
