I just bought a one owner 78 Cordoba and I love it as much as my 69 Cuda 70 340 4 speed Dart 74 360 Duster and my 60 Hemi savoy.

Found some time to go through the videos and it's actually a pretty good watch. The guy needs a better camera and his shop makes my OCD crazy but he's got skill and clearly appreciates these cars. He does make the occasional comment about this being a driver level resto on a customer car. The thing I find odd about that is that most of the other vehicles around the place seem to be late 70s B bodies that this guy owns himself.
The whole thing makes me kinda curious about his business and what the bill for this job looks like. I mean how many shops have you ever wondered in to (or even heard of) where the owner has a few, a stash of parts and experience working on these things.

I have 3 nice cars in my garage...a 71 cuda, 77 Cordoba and a 2011 SS Camaro. Any guy, no matter the age, gravitate towards the Cordoba first and loves it. They only glance at the other two.
I answer to 'why'...I bought my 77 cordoba when I was 16 yrs old (mid 80s). My first car. I will never let it go without a fight. My family says they'll bury me in it. All the other cars I can say good bye to, no problem. So its sentimental. I'd love to restore it.

Stuff like these cars...you just don't see them anymore. Let alone all fixed up. Not something I personally lust after but the fact that they are so uncommon gives them a cool factor in my book. They are really rare out here in CA because they fall under the smog laws..

This restoration of the 77 Cordoba with a Crown roof is a must see. Pretty awesome car and I fully respect the fellows passion to restore it.
Remember that in 1980, people stripped out Hemi Cudas and Superbirds and threw them away because "nobody" wanted them.

Bring a NICE low mile Cordoba to a show and see what happens....it's amazing......back in the late 70's through out the 80's and into the 90's people couldn't care less! I know because I was one of em! Times change, taste change...I'm just glad the nice ones that survived are still with us! Muscle cars are not the only thing that turns heads today!

My first Mopar was a 1977 Charger that would light up the left front turn signal indicator on the hood when you were using to much gas. We would drive around the country roads and see how long we could keep the light on. It would start to glow and then brighter as you consumed more fuel. it was awesome

I think a lot of the muscle car guys miss that detail because they're too hung up on them being detuned smoggers. I recall a lot of ugly comments about the Charger nameplate being put on them when new - like the previous 3 gens were never sold as basic grocery getters.
Dad had a plain jane 69 Coronet coupe. 318, pie plates, bench seat, plain brown wrapper. A good republican family car. It got rear ended, totalled and replaced with a used but loaded 75 Charger SE. The difference was night and day.
