78 Magnum XE resurrection

Dad's old car has been in a barn for 23 years. Working on bringing it back to life. 67K on the mileage, 360. Everything original, down to the bottle oc Chrysler air for the spare. Lot's of fun!

Attempting to upload some pics, but no luck so far. Took the Son's family for a drive in it Thanksgiving. Running pretty good, but I'm starting to think I have a slight vacuum leak.

Short version, Carb rebuilt by Holley Factory, so trust that. All new remaining fuel system. Lean Burn still operating as good as it ever did. Timing "sorta" set as it wants 20 BTC and the marks only go to 10. Working on that one....

Slight stumble at first part of acceleration, then it catches up. Let is sit and heat soak after driving it for 10 minutes or so then no stumble.

Most cameras these days are multi mega-pixels ( which means a very big picture ) - If you reduce the image size - they tend to upload more friendly.

I usually reduce my pictures to 640 X 480 before uploading them.

I use Microsoft Office Picture Manager - but there are plenty of applications that will help with it too.

I agree it is a nice color, i like the style of the Magnum's, They have a real cool dash in them! I don't know if this will help you with photos but this is what i use to make different photos the size i want them, its a windows free program. i usually go with the smallest on its list for here, good luck to ya!

This thread is making me feel old! Sherod talkin about dad's old car and 23 years ago. I remember when those cars were new! Granted I was a kid back then but my mother bought one in 79. The color was light cashmire, with t-tops and a dark brown vinyl half top. That car was so cool and I've never seen another one like it since.

Funny! I feel the same way! I was about 19 or 20 when Dad bought that car. He had issues with it and the local dealer said "huh'. He got fed up and pushed it into the machine shed. There it sat until I went and hauled it home.
