1979 z28 black... which stripe kit or none at all and maybe an old school insignia in a couple spots?
Yeah I know this isnt a chevy board but I spend more time here than on them and like the people better. Please help me to decide.. thank you

There is a gold and brown option but I didnt like it.

If you're talking about the stripe that's lower down and wraps around the front spoiler, I'd go with the white/gray or white/silver on a black car.

I had nearly that same car a 78 Z28 T-Tops, white with gold/tan/brown striping decals, in 1979-1980... I think you may be on the wrong board for a Camaro, your going to bring out some real hatters, with a Z28 on a Mopar B-Body Forum/board... I'm just saying, I hope you have thick skin...LOL... Anyway I say Charcoal/Gray over Black, but I'm a die hard Raiders fan, so I always like Silver & Black and black/gray is damn close...

The car is for sale so I can sink money into the Plymouth .. so its kind of related to the Mopar :) Plus the more practice I get the better I get and the better the plymouth will be.... haters gonna hate no matter what but this boad has less of them for sure.
There are some good guys on here though and I thank you all for your support :)

I like the orange.
I have a 1980 Z28 that is white with the blue stripes. It was my high school car. I don't drive it much anymore. But it sure is fun to get it out of the basement take the t-tops out and hit the road shifting gears with the 4 speed.

The orange "pops" in a way that you'd like if you're a Mopar fan... our lime, pink, orange, yellow, and purple cars are not for the faint of heart. :sunny:

My brother had a black '83 Z-28 that had the orange and red lower stripes and it looked good. So I vote orange and red stripes,

like budnicks said,go with the charcole and grey.a diehard raider fan should snatch that thing up quick.plus, with that combo,at least you see the rest of the car and not just the stripes.

Interesting idea indeed. Wouldnt be hard to make it a Raiders car at all either with those stripes if a person wanted to for sure. the car was triple black but I dont know what stripe package it had

My dad had the same car.

Dated a girl in High school that got a new Z28 with the blue stripes.

Talk about a rattling SOB. The auto makers loved their plastic in their cars back then. Don't get me started on the door hinges.

I like the gray stripes. The orange will give it the 70's if that what your going for.

I'm with Rusty - go with the orange!

I remember seeing those all over the place back in the 80's. Nice looking ride and kind of neat seeing one again after they are all gone. These days I'd much rather look at those than Honda mini vans.

Plus one on the orange.....that way you can put matching late model hemi under the hood and paint it orange.

I'm torn between the two.. the charcoal and grey makes it look classier but the orange and red makes it pop... tough choice.. the orange and black might keep the attention off the imperfections better but the chrcoal and gray is cool looking..hahahahaha I'll go what ever way the vote sways I guess.. more popular means quicker sale I'm hoping.. if I was keeping it I might be going charcoal and grey but only in paint and ghosted in with flake and kandy...LOL I like flake and kandy

I'm liking the red/orange.

Very "in your face". Much like our HIP colors.

Of course an "arrest me yellow", or blinding lime green Mopar better kick just about anyones *** in a street fight.

I had a couple of friends in high school that had Z28's. One was silver car and had the orange and red stripes. The other car was red. Can't remember a stripe. I remember the silver one the most. Almost bought it. I believe it was a 79 no t tops. Whipped out cam. Sold it for $350.

I vote red and orange.
