8 3/4 inner axle seal measure or not?

Boy I guess Mopar was a dummy wasting money on a stronger bearing when they didn't need to. Timken sure fooled a lot of us...
'Mom' usually overkilled parts but imo, she didn't fool us imo. I still like the Timkens. The Ferd ball bearings were kind of a toss up imo but for some reason, GM made them work pretty good. What about the needle bearings that have been in use for a big number of years now? I'm talking about the ones that use the axle shaft as the 'inner race' and when the bearing goes bad you get to replace the axle too??
