detailed my 8-3/4" axle. Just put it back together.

I have a rear gear with 43 teeth and it takes the pinion 4 revolutions to 1 revolution of the rear gear.

what is my ratio?

Well that would be 4:1, since I've never heard of a 400, my guess would be it is 410. But if you want to know exactly divide the teeth on the ring gear by the number on the pinion.

I'm thinking if you can count the teeth, you have the pumpkin out.. read the ratio on the side of the ring gear!

couldnt read the numbers on the gear.

would be happy with a 4:10 or a 3:91.

I heard my car was a terror in central FLA back in the day.

thanks for you help everyone. appreciated.
