I did it again, another display of my clumsyness! While dropping my axle off at the body shop for paint. I prematurely dropped it off on my left toe, DANNNNNG!!! Don't believe that I've ever seen a big toe with this many colors in it. Broken I'm sure but I don't believe that they do much for broken toes at the clinic so I opted out of that option and went to Menards to buy the rest of my roofing materials that I will be using next weekend to roof my house. I'm sure that this roofing job will go real smooth sporting a boo-boo like this. Just one of those things that makes you say *&^%. I'm sure the rear axle won this bout.

YEP you lost that fight, ouch! Go to the doctors better have it checked out, maybe he will give ya a couple of those pain pills to help out, the kind that make ya smile? Make ya give back stuff ya never stole!!!

Oh, $hit ..ouch ...damn where was your floor jack or friend, or even unsuspecting wife to stand in the way of your toe...

I once did this but not by dropping somthing on my toe but by polishing off a bottle of coffee flavored russian booze- I was walking barefoot and caught my big toe and stepped over on it.. Couldnt walk straight for 2 weeks...

Feel your pain- ouch

Ouch. Last time I did that, my toenail fell off!

I just moved a 9 1/4 out of my truck by myself. THAT was fun!

That's why I wear STEEL-TOED BOOTS!!!!! I had a car drive over my foot once and after that it was steel-toed all the way! I wear 16's and my big ol' feet get out in front of everything so for me it's a must! Hopefully your toe is not broke!!!

Ouch!! All they do at the hospital is tape it to the next toe...lol I'd just tape it up at home and save yourself a trip.

Just made it back from the Doc's office. Nice clean horizontal break that doesn't need to be reset but x-rays are being sent to a real othapedic surgeon for fear of two more possible fractures on same toe. I did it good this time, one hell of a way to get out of roofing my house.

OK, I need to ask the question: Did the doc find that it was toed in or toed out?? My personal opinion was you had too much toe out - or that hunk of steel would have missed ya! Anyway, that is one big owee and I hope for your complete recovery.

toed out I believe

The doctor gave me a new name, AXLE TOES.
