8.75 rear .

With number on the case 207074. There is no 1 or 2 following the 74. Can anyone give me any info on this rear. It has a 3:91 sure grip

The early part of the number puts in the date range similar to a 742. My bet is it's a truck rear 1 3/4 pinion.

The last digit is missing. Look for a big X or a 2 cast into the side of the housing. X is 741 and 2 is 742.
