8.75 Ring Gear bolts

Switching from a 1966 open rear to a cone style sure grip. Measured the holes on open unit .370 cone type .390. Are there different ring gear bolts for cone type, larger shoulder. Street car no big tires.

Yes, there are two different shoulder sizes. Not sure when they made the change but the .391" shoulders are too big for the old clutch-type Sure-Grips.

Going to look at a set tomorrow. Forgot they didn't fit a clutch suregrip setup year 1/2 ago.
