9.25 differential cover magnet?

Found this cover in the junkyard from a 1991 ramcharger. Is the magnet spot welded inside the cover standard for ramchargers? And only in ramchargers? Because I never saw one on pickup trucks and my 00 dakota doesn't have it either. Thanks, Tony Tee.

My 2500 Dana 70 cover (same cover as a D60) has one......and iirc, my (was mine) 00 Durango with 9 1/4 and limited slip had it.
