Has anyone installed and used one of Richmond's Powertrax Suregrips in thier 9.25 rears?

I have an open 9.25 in my Charger and want to put a suregrip in, Im looking for a quality product at a reasonable price as well as ease of instalation... speaking of instalation, the 9.25 is a C-clip design, by the looks of the Powertrax I cant see how the C-clips are replaced?

Can anyone shed any light on this for me please?

Thank you kindly

I can't comment on the Powertrax unit (though I will look into it for my 02 Durango) but I can tell you how to deal with the C clips.

To remove them you need to first remove the spider gear cross shaft then push the axle in to expose the C clip. The side gears have a counterbore to capture the clip and the spider gear shaft is the thrust for the axle. Very simple.

I think thats his problem. When the powertrax is installed you loose the spiders. i keep thinking i saw a powerblock show that showed a different method like you slipped the axles in and the clips were inside the posi and you bolted a catch to keep the clips loaded. went and found it for ya. http://www.drivetrain.com/parts_catalog/positraction/no_slip_positraction_installation_guide.html

PERFECT! Thank you! That link completely answers the how with the C-clips

Hey, that's pretty slick! It still seems to deal with the C clips the same way just no spiders.
