My yoke is leaking and it's not the trans tail seal. I have replaced it twice already. The bushing is new and the yoke is good. It took me a while to figure the leak is coming from the end of the yoke and running down the trunion that holds the u joint caps. I even wrapped tissue paper around the yoke where it meets the seal to check but after a week no fluid on the tissue but I have fluid dripping from the u joints area. The book showes a yoke seal and 2 retainers but when I pulled the tail housing there was no seal or retainers. The car (66 Coronet 273/904) has 65K original miles and looks like the tail was never removed before. Not sure what to think about the missing seal. I'm trying to source the seal and retainers but have had no luck. Does anyone know where I can purchase the parts? Is there another way to seal off the leak?
Thanks
Wayne

Is it leaking out the end of the yolk? I've seen some with a disc plug in the end that is either rusted, leaking or gone.

I have a yolk you can have if you pay shipping on it...was from a /6 904 but should work.
