How did you do the lettering?
Thanks

Nice! I have one of these to do in my future.

Any luck taking the dimples out of the base plate for mounting or has anyone ever tried? Mine is puckered pretty bad and the finish is nice so I’d like to fix it but wondered how is the best method without cracking it, as it’s pot metal.

Yes just put it on a flat surface with a towel protecting it and some light taps with a hammer got the majority out

Anyone got a picture of what screws & speed nuts are needed to mount the unit ?

There are little fender clips that mount it to the inside of the dash, the screws are are short chrome finish countersunk if I recall . There is a dash screw kit available from several vendors.
