A couple gauge cluster questions

The lens for the high beam indicator light is red. Is that original?
In the second pic the hole on the left is for the high beam indicator light. What goes in the hole on the right?

Yes red. What year cluster? My 69 only has one hole. It would be the left hole on your bottom picture. To the right is all casting.

Must of been an idea for something that was not used. If it was you would have some sort of viewing portal in the rest of the lens and face plate.

I have been thinking of modifying the speedo face with another hole to the left of the high beam to put in a shift light.
