These photos are of my friend Tony's model car collection. He has been collecting these all his life and he is over 60 now. Some are very rare and hard to find. It is the biggest collection I've ever seen and these photos really do not do them justice. He tells me he is ready to sell off many of them. I would imagine some of them will not be cheap.

Tony is not a hoarder or a slob and as a matter of fact he is a very gifted metal fabricator. It is hard to imagine what he can do to 4x8 piece of sheet metal. Much of his work has been published in many car magazines over the years.

If you would like his phone number pm me and I'll fix you up. When you call him tell him you got his number from "Mr.Bill" and you will think you are talking to your brother. Tony is a good guy and a great friend.

You are 100% sure he is not a hoarder? LOL It looks like he has a little of everything. I certainly hope he has kept these in a smoke and pet free environment to maintain resale and that includes welding torches and mice! Very nice and unique collection.

Let's get a 55 gallon drum of glue and put 'em together. Man, I can smell the fumes now. I'm feeling sleepy, can hardly keep my eyes Zzzzzzzzzzz.

He's been collecting them for all his life...when is he going to start putting them together? :)

As a kid I used to build car models and seeing this then would have put me over the top. Wow! I might take a closer look at what he has.

Man, that is impressive!! I thought I had it bad collecting diecasts - Hotwheels & Matchbox, but this guy takes the cake :)

I wouldn't have the first clue on where I would start if I had that many.

I remember building some of those. That ford coupe, a gtx and the chevelle are a few. Cool collection

If he can find be a '68 Charger R/T in my color, I'd be glad to fix him up with a couple dozen M-80s.

I watched that tv program "Hoarders" twice and both times it was about people that had collected so much garbage and trash that they had rats, mice, insects and other critters that they haft to have a haz-mat crew to clean it up and a dumpster to haul it off. Then a member on this site called me a hoarder and a slob. Needless to say i was offended by those comments. I most probably over reacted because I felt insulted. A lot of members took up for him saying he just has a strange sense of humor and he is really a good guy. I suppose i should apologize to him for my crude and uncalled for comments I had made to him. So until can i do a better job of it I'll just say it here now, I am sorry R.C. if I have offended you and you are surely entitled to form your own opinion.

Tony knows how to care for these things and he tells me that some of the box art is actually worth more than what is in the box.

Yes I am a member of FABO and I would like it on there. Do you know a easy way to post it there?

I guess I should have taken pictures of his completed collection. He even puts spark plug wires and fuel lines as well as many other very detailed items on them. He amazes me with his attention to detail.

Tony has a large selection of hot wheel cars and die cast as well. He has a model of a dragster that is over two feet long and he says it is worth over three grand.

Hey R.C., I bet he has a Hemi Charger or two in here some where and believe me when I say he can make them in any color you want. Down here fireworks are legal and although they no longer sell the M-80 we can get just about any other type one can imagine, any time of year. I get a really good deal on them as I restored a large fireworks suppliers '65 Mustang convertible and he cuts me a good deal when when I want to make noise.
