A few more backyard wildlife pics.

We have raccoons constantly. I'm surprised the foxes and coyotes are not eating the raccoons. Maybe the loose skin/fur makes a difficult kill. I've seen this Mule Deer buck around. Based on his antlers he's old and he may have been forced out by a younger buck. He's usually by himself.

Have I fed the the wildlife? Guilty.

Most times I throw out some dog biscuits. The wildlife eats them but the Magpies come eat the crumbs during the day.

Came home to find this young Great Horned Owl in our front yard. He hung around for a couple of days with his parents close by (they left him a dead rat for dinner) and then flew away.

Love those owls. We have a pair of Barred Owls in the neighborhood. Fun to hear and see.
