The Illustrated Man - Wikipedia

My favorites "The Martian Chronicles" and "Fahrenheit 451"

I read scads and scads of SF, mostly during the summers between the ages of about 9 and 15, late 70's/early 80's.

A LOT of short story anthologies but also an occasional novel.

I think the last was "Battlefield Earth", which was much better than the movie.

Yep, I read that along with Dandelion wine in H.S; I wonder if these are still allowed in the school's libraries or if they've been replaced with ****?????

Fahrenheit 451 was always one of my favorite books, period. The movie was actually close to the book, as I remember it.

"The Illustrated Man" was one of the books that was "required reading" in high school, Marlon Brando played the lead role in the movie......was a great movie too!!!!
It was Rod Steiger in the 1969 film. Book and film excellent.
