I am grateful to God for keeping me around these last several years, when it would have been easier to just let one
of the flatlines remain...I still have no idea why He does it.
I am grateful for Lisa, the love of my life who has stuck with me and my oftentimes insufferable grouchiness all these
years - and given it right back as needed.
I am grateful for a small gathering of longtime friends who were supportive when needed and loyal when it counted.
I am grateful to have a surviving brother and sister that tell me they love me despite all my Pop-like tendencies.
I am grateful for so many friends that I've never met here on FBBO, yet out of the kindness of their hearts they helped me
all the same.
And finally...
I am forever grateful that I was born in a time and place such that I could enjoy the last of the great American family
society and grow up in the positive environment that fostered.

This has been just another typical, average life of some accomplishments, more great disappointments and heartbreak,
injustices (and once in a while, sweet revenges!), living life as a hyper-sensitive sort with double the pain of a regular human, etc.
I'd do it all again....gratefully.

Oh...and the rest of you clowns can kiss my azz.

You’re actually not so bad yourself. We’re glad to have you as a buddy. Kim

You are right Ed. After two of these, and Cancer I live my life different. I make no plans from one day to the next. When I wake up, if I do, I make my plans then. Health issues will change your outlook in a hurry. Thanks for the short story time Ed.

P.S.: I never sold out in this life - to anyone or anything.
Got me nowhere - but I'm proud of that fact, regardless.

Life is not for the faint of heart. If easy life came in a bottle, everyone would have it.

Sold out, you do what's right, if that offends someone, they were wrong, not you. I played by the book and if someone didn't, fine, just don't step on me and if you do, I will **** you and have many times. Simple rules, for a good life.
Health, I deal with that everyday just like we all do or will, no one gets out of this world alive. It's all good Ed! ............ Be safe!!

Just needed said before I couldn't.
Consider it my "manifesto", as it were.
