A12 pics

so its not a normal A12 color? or just not alot of them?

I will get some pics in the next lil bit here of pops A12 now that our weather up here is waarming up finnally.

I sold Dodges new from 1968-1974.

From the horse's mouth of our factory sales rep when he visited our dealership in 1969, he told me about the new car (440 six pack) and that they were planning on building 2500 for sales bank in the four new colors they were announcing at the same basic time. I asked "what if some one wants one in another color? He said that after the sales bank was depleted they would accept orders. Obviously they never got built and with the word out on them if a customer came in and wanted to order one in a specific color and equipment then one of the existing sales bank orders that was yet unbuilt would have been used and changed to meet the customers request.

The Turquoise metallic was a standard B body color but not many sold in that color. Many sold in various shades of green as that was a very popular color then.

The vast majority of the A12 cars were Red, orange, green or butterscotch.

Attach is an original small add on color swatch to be added to the factory dealer Color and Upholstery Book showing the colors. This is a Dodge color chip and there is a mistake on it as they refer to the mustard yellow color as Bahama Yellow which was actually the Plymouth name for the same color.

White was not a popular color on any muscle cars let alone and A12 but there are a couple of them out there.

That is the smart car to "upgrade" to an A12 car. It will always be worth what it is as a regular Bee and the upgrades will be worth their parts value as well.

yes and the car is listed for sale in the.....for sale section.....lol

White A12....

Man I would love to find a white A12 runner project, that would be too cool.

I owned and drove this Runner for about 10 years. It's now up in Ohio.
It is a complete matching number A12 eith buckets, console and 4 sp.
I always liked the white because it seemed to showcase the body style so well. Not many around though.

This was my car from about 20 years ago. 4spd, cheap taxicab interior with no rear seat armrests, bench seat, PS & manual brakes. Sure wish I knew where it was today.
