1968 B body 23 spline A833 tranmission for sale
There are no guarantees or warranties, for clarification this is a used part.
I took this transmission to a local transmission shop and they *inspected* it.
The guy basically charge me $40 bux to pull the side cover and look at it. Same thing I did with half his knowledge.
That said, he said it appears to be in great shape but he would have to pull it apart to 100% confirm that and at that point I would get charged for a rebuild.
No thanks.
I am positive that this is at the minimum a useable transmission therefore I feel as tho I am not asking much money for it.
It does have some external surface rust from sitting around but it is not rusted badly or damaged in any way.
I was going to put this into my charger but I decided Ill just keep the small block and automatic and put the money towards something else.
I am asking $250.00 plus shipping.
I would prefer someone local come have a look.
I did take some pics of it while apart.
It has a vin on it 8G then the sequence numbers the build date is may 68 and it has shift rods and shifter mounting plate. Input bearing retainer measures at 4.805 if I remember right.
It is located in Northern Florida very near jacksonville.
