A990 Dash question

On the A990 or W051 there is a heater delete with 2 buttons as seen in this photo below. I have one of these deletes I want to use on my Coronet. (Not an A990 but not using heater in my car) My question is, the switch used for this application, is it available or can I remove the 2 middle buttons from my switch and use the top (off) button and the bottom (cool) button? I can do it for looks I think for now but what does it run if the heater box is not there?????

The repo delete plate or the push button switch? Do the repo plates have the Mopar part numbers on the back? I believe mine is OEM part.

Just pull the buttons from control panel then install it.

It still has the lever which is not removable unless drilled out. I could buy a different one and drill it. I want to keep all the parts intact in case I ever want to convert back. Thanks for input.
