Hello, I am asking a question about accuracy regarding the hood mounted turn signals in my 69 charger. I have never put the hood depression decals in yet so ordered those from Classic Industries today. I noticed the hood signal lenses they offer are blacked out around the edges which seems right as it would blend with the decals in the hood better. I bought new ones years ago from Charger Specialties that were only available at the time. These are simply orange and do look nice however just curious about the black around them. Is this more OEM appearing to do that? I don't have any other reference to find out. Input?

My original OE turn signal lenses have black around them. They currently reside in a box in my garage. I have new ones that are all orange and no decals in the hood depressions.

Thank you for the reply. Man when that car is older than I am it’s hard to figure out everything that the car was in its day. I ordered the good depression decals and am considering pulling out the signal lenses to black them out so they blend in with the decals. I am just curious if this is the correct way it should have been. It seems right. Thanks for the reply!
