Hi.
Does anyone know if any of the adjustable strut rods on offer have enough adjustability to be fitted to the car without having to break ball joints and disconnect the lower control arm etc? My stock ones have a curve in them so I was thinking I could just cut the old ones in half to remove them and fit adjustables without having to mess around doing anything else.
Anyone know?

Thanks,
Steve.

I had to remove the Lower Control Arms to fit the Hotchkis adjustables in. After installation they are not that easy to adjust due to the tapered seat in the control arm doesn't allow turning the sleeve for adjustment w/o unseating to rod from the control arm. I measured mine first and made the same as stock length before going for a front end alignment.

Damn. I'm halfway through putting my front end back together which means I'll have to hold off until I get the new rods then. I'm in Australia so I'll have to wait 2 weeks for the things to arrive. So annoying. Wish I'd noticed that they were bent before I ordered my PST kit.
Just want to drive the damn car!

Anyone used these adjustable strut rods? $179 off eBay.

Check out the picture where they've cut a big hole in the cross member to fit the bracket in. Looks scary. Do you have to do this for PST or hotchkiss adjustable strut rods?
