Adjusting windows

I need to adjust the windows on the 65 Satellite. I have new seals between the front and rear glass. I have not attempted this yet. I just thought I would ask for advice before starting this project. 2 door hardtop

It is all explained in the service manual. Do you have one?

Agree. There is fore, aft, in and out at 4 different points. A Factory manual covers this well.

put the glass where it wants to be in the up position and tighten things up

FSM is a good investment,Scott. I had the windows and tracks all out of my 4-door hardtop when it was painted. I do not think I could have gotten them reinstalled and adjusted a year later without my FSM. I use it for a lot of other things as well, especially wiring diagrams, transmission rebuild, brakes.

Scott, Manual and lots of trial and error on first one to get all the different adjustments to work together just take your time. Wondering if others my have my issue as I need to roll window down quarter inch shut door then roll up or window gasket rolls inward instead of window fitting into gasket u properly as window pushes gasket inward when shut if window all the way up? 65 satellite

You need to loosen the adjustment bolts on bottom of window tracks and pull the top of the window out a bit, so it does not try to roll up behind weatherstrip. A trial and error thing.
