I am currently running dual Edelbrock 4bbl carbs on my '69 440 Bee.
I had a Fresh Air Cleaner base fab'd to fit over the carbs and be able to use the N96 hood the way it was meant to be. My fuel lines are in the way of this base sitting flush against the bowls. Short of cutting the base, has anyone on here dealt with a similar issue and what was the cure? I may also have issues with the coil being in the way, but one issue at a time.

The fuel line can be changed to AN fittings to lower it . Check out Summits fittings. You can also use regular brass fittings. It's only limited by your imagination, and keeping it away from heat sources. Same for the coil. You can put it anywhere. Might have to lengthen the wiring to fit your needs.
