I used to have an 80 gallon Chicom Porter Cable 2 stage that was decent, until I realized you couldn’t get any parts for it at all. Not even gaskets. I sold it and bought a dead 80 gallon 2-stage Ingersoll Rand for $150. Had a cracked flywheel because flywheel nut came loose and sheared the key. It was 30+ years old , but I could get parts all day long. I sold the 3 phase baldor motor for $200, bought a single phase baldor off fleabay for $500 so I could run off house 220. Put rings, bearings, and valve plates in pump, plus new flywheel, and viola, $800 American 2 stage compressor. Plenty of air, like 18 cfm @175, and relatively quiet. Parts will never again be an issue.
