What holds the air grabber pieces to the hood, big rivets or screws? I tried looking on pics but cant tell. thanks

Just don't use regular rivets otherwise they will pull through the fiberglass. The rivet head diameter for soft materials is about 1/2".

another random question. The vents I have on the 69 383 roadrunner have a screen but there is a solid metal sheet under them.

If I am converting to an air grabber setup can I modify my current hood vents or do I need to buy new vents and screens?

You will need the screens, they are sold individually. You say you have a screen? under the block off's? or you can just be cheap like me and make your own :0 until I can buy the real deal lol

I have a screen like that but under the screen in a thin metal plate that covers the opening. It is the same dimension as the screen and seals the air flow off

do you know what the solid standard covers look like on a non air grabber hood so I can compare?

the grey is the block off plate solid metal, it has ridges like a valve cover, raised edges
