my father was in Europe in WW2. He said he came in right after D-day and fought through Belgium down into Germany. He never spoke much about it so I know he saw the real horror of it. He is buried in Arlington national cemetery with a stone. Here are his medals
The other picture is my two youngest after returning from Parris Island before going to Afghanistan. They both saw action and terrible things. They both have combat action medals and other stuff. One was in 2/2 and the other was in 2/6 when they reupped they were both in 3/3 at Kaneohe. They both out now. I thank God they made it.
