How do I wire my alt. to my master cut-off switch.

I am using a Power Master alt. it has a volt reg wire,a battery wire and two ground wire.

What, No one has their Alt hooked up to the Master cut-off?:edgy:

I am guessing that I have to do something with the wire that goes from the Alt. to the bulkhead but really I am clueless on this!

If you are going thru tech, and the mster cut must work to shut the car down, wire the charge wire to the BATTERY side of the master- this way it disconnects when you shut the switch off

I used a Master disconnect on mine, but only for theft protection. But I did jumper around the switch with a #12 wire and an inline 20a fuse to provide radio memory and normal interior lighting. If you hit the starter, with the master off, the 20a fuse would drop out instantly! Thieves dont do troubleshooting!

Thanks.
I guess I should have said it was for tech. Now I have to track that wire down. I see that it goes to the firewall connector but not sure after that.

Well I will just say it is in. I will find out if it is ok when I do a few test/tunes. I had the wrong oil pan and that what was making me think that a bunch of other stuff was wrong (like the linkage.)

I need to add fluids next week and she will be running. I have a few NHRA tech things(Alt,seat brace) to do and will get to run it this year.
