Alternator bracket upper bolt off with Edelbrock Heads.

Got my E street heads installed on my 383, but now my bracket for the alternator doesnt fit…any ideas of what upper bracket fits?

That must be a bracket for a 66 and down water pump..
 
Just from the pic, I bet that bracket would fit a RB engine.
 
The 2 holes are for B and RB

It bolts to the head and the top hole will support the alternator bolt...

Nope... You use the outer hole even on a 383.... Just use the adapter bracket... If one hole were for a low deck the variance would follow the same plane as the deck height but instead it moves more side to side than up & down...

Actually after taking another look, flip the chrome bracket & see if the alignment improves...

You might even get away with just enlarging the current holes in the bracket you have. I recently did this on mine - not much filing gives a surprising amount of adjustment.
