That's very impressive. I don't know why I don't see a like button for me to like or agree to someone's posting.

Hmm, now I'm back to, if I do the outer bezels the inner bezels will need to be done. Oh now I need to do the grill now too. I'm thinking a local tin guy and powder coating would be best for my weekend 30/30 This is no showcar. :)

I took my bezel's into a local trim guy. He suggested I match the bezels to the condition of the car and my expectations. He said the way the aluminum is cracked and stressed that it may be best to get it painted with chrome paint at a paint shop after he fixes it. I thought that was pretty good advice for what I want for this car. A few minutes ago I was watching a guy on YouTube electroplating some metal at home using very simple methods. I'm thinking it wouldn't be that hard to nickel plate these bezels or maybe some other parts. Depending on how they look when he finshes them I might give it a try. Has anyone tried nickel plating at home ?

I got my headlight bezels back today. $100 for the Tin Guy to straighten and $150 for the Paint Guy. He mixed silver and pearl and clear coat over top. Seems a good option over trying to find something better for the price.

I can fix them. But I can’t brite dip them like the factory did. King of Trim would be the one stop shop if you wanted it to be factory looking. I can just fix them, polish the snot out of them and paint the areas that need painting (grille h/l bezels).

5.7 is the ticket!!!! I tried powder coating the 3 piece grille and filler and bezels black to go with my black 63 plymouth. Well,,,,,I hated it! I had spoken with Zack prior to the black phase that lasted 2 monthes.I sent the dinged bezels and UNstraight grill to him.Came back looking like jewlry.I send anyone that asks me who did my grille!:lowdown::lowdown::lowdown::lowdown:

I tried sending Bill Petro a email but he has a odd Web site that was trying to set me up with with some strange passwords and info gathering stuff. I contacted Joe Suchy and he didn't have any. Has anyone tried body filler and chrome paint?

If you get the log in part just don't enter anything and click go and it will get you to his site without giving any personal info.
