Cools stuff Budnicks! That red car is likely the only known example of a 1971 Machine. While the better known 1970 models were based on the Rebel, in '71 the updated and renamed Matador was used, with a 401 mill under the hood.

But, there is another AMC that is pretty RARE, only 100 made

How about:

I always thought the 67-70 Rebel looked a lot like the 68 Coronet, until I realized the Rebel came first.

Something not mentioned yet is that in 68- the Rebel and some other AMCs got "slam lock" style door handles.

How far ahead was that?

1957 rebel with a 327 that WASN'T a chevy? Very potent for it's time, virtually unknown today.
