I would like to install the 3 inch wider wheel houses on my 1967 GTX. Will I be able to keep the stock back seat?

You more than likely have to modify the rear seat. I had to on my Challenger. However, that is an E Body and does have a shorter wheel base which would require more narrowing of the seat.

I had to hit mine (69 Dart) to gain some clearance. But the stock seat cover fit just fine.

Yes, I was able to still use my original seat cover. This is about the only picture I have showing what I did.

On my '65 Coronet I had to make a couple of simple mods to the seat frame. Basically just cut the frame where it interfered with the tub and move it over a bit and then weld back in place.

I was able to reuse the factory seat cover after making small modifications to the seat frame. The tubs in my '65 Coronet were made wider by a couple of inches. Here are a couple of pictures.
