AMD rear crossmember shock mount holes wrong?

Hello everyone, I'm finally starting my 68 charger project, have a question. The original rear cross member holes to mount the shocks are measuring center hole to center 14 1/8 new amd part number 860-1466 holes are 15 inches...unfortunately they are closed today. AMD says fits all B-body...has anyone run into this? Will this affect exhaust or any other issues. Thanks for all the help!

cant help with this one, but the shock crossmember in my GTX is a mess; sooo.......

Your tape makes it look like 14 1/2. I doubt it will make any difference.

My guess clearance wise. 7/16" at the top should be able to be accommodated, exhaust being your first concern if any,

Suspension kinematics, negligible.

Yep you will have to call AMD I think it will be fine.

I don't see 15" inches c to c....... I see approx 14 3/8

Thanks the photo with tape measure was the best I could get 1 handed...but it does measure 15 inches center to center

Measure the shock mounting holes on the other side, they look like they’re at an angle.
