I am looking at sending my Coronet here to get full quarters, door skins, and a roof replacement. I am looking for reviews of this place both good and bad.

Thanks,

Craig

Read through this thread I brought them up once in this thread and although mostly great feedback apparently someone had an issue with them. But take that for what it is. These guys are AMD reps it would be weird for them to half *** something. But you never know. You cant make everyone happy. So maybe one bad review out of 50 I guess that's pretty good. Those are just numbers I threw in there don't assume they are real numbers.

I'll tell you what my BIGGEST regret doing my car was ... NOT taking it to them !!!

AMD specialists...you would hope they know what they're doing with their own product.

If they can't get it right....what hope does anyone else have?

They're AMD "authorized" centers - they have no stake in the company. US CarTool does the same sort of stuff

Can you explain a little more?

At the time one of them had a "body in white" deal - bring them your shell and for $15k they'd replace any part that was rusted or damaged. After all was said an done, I'd spent WAY more than that on parts and labor having it done locally and the quality of the work was less than expected. There's more to the story but that's basically it.

You have to remember these guys are trying to polish a turd. If the shell of the car is way out of whack they are limited to what they have to work with.

How many times have we seen cars built up around a fender tag or dash frame here over the years?
I think that turd polishing is a fine career path for some. :poke:

I meant that they are taking some rough cars and doing the best job they can with it. I have no doubt they are skilled. I was just saying you can't please everyone. So there are bound to be some people that are not satisfied.
