Just a fyi...

Finally got the ones I ordered before xmas. Fresh off the boat.

Anyway, the pair I bought was 64-65 BB covers. They look good.
Only complaint, though no big deal, are the bolt holes. Appears they need to put a little sharpener on the die punch that pokes the holes. Punched from the top...okay. Bottom of the holes, or at the gasket side, metal has 'hangnails', where the die didn't cleanly cut the holes.
Like said, no biggie. Simply a wipe with my trusty chamfer bit. Done deal.

All of the other cut edges okay, and fairly clean. Gasket surface flange is flat. (Asking about 'em, one of the guys said something about not being 'flat'.)

Here's a couple. Don't know how clear they are. 64 covers.jpg64 covers 2.jpg

Seem to fit good enough.

It's too blasted cold to mess around in my shop, but will compare with the rusted covers I have. Only concerns right now, bolt hole on one end might be slightly off, and the outer flange lip could be a little short.
Of course, gasket thinkness will come into play there.
