Americans keep turning their backs on McDonald’s

Why go to any fast food hamburger puke joint when you can go to the local Mexican restaurant and be waited on by the pleasant waitress cuties and spend less to boot?

Plus Mickey D's doesn't have Margaritas!

Ya gotta go to Hardee's, man. Hardees! lol
hardees was my go to. Most of them closed around here, because people got addicted to mcdonalds fries.
The couple within an hour of me, only one is worth a damn. The closer one closed down the inside seating for covid, and then just said F it and never reopened it. Screw that.

Go back to the early 90's, the original Monster Bacon Cheeseburger that they made on a hoagie roll so all the bacon could lay out in a straight line. That thing was amazing. Last time I went I was satisfied but not impressed with the quality. The bar is low for me for fast food, and I can find places that serve much better, bigger portions for less money in rural WI. At least for now. I have a bad feeling the big wave is coming for food prices this winter.......

I'd also be a bit leery of even those establishments and their food quality. The last one I had a meal at, I wound up with a case of Toemain Poisoning. And it supposedly had a great rep as the place to go to for Mexican. After that, I learned to make my own here for way less and actually tastes even better...If I do say so myself...cr8crshr/Bill:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Hardee's is my favorite. Only a couple left near here. When I am near the are, I hit it for sure.
Subway used to be my go to over a burger joint, but last Christmas time I got food poisoning for the third time from a Subway that I can remember in my life time. I am done with Subway.

I was just through Wyoming and the McDonald's there reminds me of the good ol' days before the liberal take over.
The restaurants were hospital clean. Restroom doors unlocked. Napkins and straws at the drink counter. No one sleeping in the corner.

Restaurant was well staffed and my order took less than 5 minutes. I was so happy with the McDonald's in Wyoming I ate there 4 times over 6 days.

Love me some Hardee's. Matter of fact, we're heading to Wisconsin tomorrow to eat there and do some shore fishing.

I am lazy, so I eat (or, used to) a lot of fast food. I still might, in Arizona, but that's not happening in california any more. There are no bargains, no coupons and no reasonable prices for ANY kind of fast food here. Two thin tacos, an ordinary burger, and some fries at jackbox, $12. Huge lines at in-n-out, because they didn't raise prices that I could see when fast food workers/schlubs started getting paid $20/hr.
I was hungry on my trip thru the cali desert and stopped at the DQ in the middle of nowhere, at almost nine p.m. To say wasn't expecting much is probably an understatement. Surprisingly, the fries were perfectly cooked and hot, the burger quite good. But for the downside.... a burger, medium fries and a small drink was sixteen bucks.
So I guess it's back to franks and beans, grilled ham and cheese, big batches of spaghetti, and frozen pizzas in california. Gotta be cheap and easy for me to bother cooking anything.
