And Now... A Steering Problem!

The linkage seems to be fine. I grabbed it while my son turned the wheel and there was no looseness or slop at all. It all seems to be between the box and the wheels.

Is there any slack between the steering shaft, and the pitman arm off the box? That will tell you if the 'box' is loose, and you need to tighten the backlash.
Between box and wheels...a bunch of parts.
 
Okay... I went out and added some toe-in to both wheels, and the car tracks straight as an arrow now. Still a lot of slop in the steering wheel, but I can control the car now. :)
