Your knee is shot, find an easier job.....yea right! Knee replacement surgery is out of the question because of the type of job I have. I'm sure at 61 there should be no problem lining up 5 or 6 jobs. These doctors must be taking their own drugs.....:violent-smiley-100:

They live in the fantasy world of unicorns and rainbows. What? Going from a skilled position to a position you know nothing about doesn't pay the same? Really?

Wonder if I can bill my insurance company for the difference! Hey there's an idea...!:violent-smiley-100:

I can relate, I quit contracting/construction, because my body was worn out pretty much, shoulders, elbow, knees & back, I have been in the Golf industry, I started the business before I quit construction "mostly, I still do some"... I don't make any were near as much money, but my body has recovered nicely, the downside of it is my age at 52, who is going to want to hire & train someone that age, good physical condition or not, if they can get a younger, dumber 20-30 something to do the same job & probably cheaper...

Check with you state's disability agencies; your state should have some form of vocational rehabilitation training/assistance available. You may have to do some digging, they sure as hell won't advertise it, but it is available. Just a thought...you've been paying for it ever since you've been working.

Boy isn't that the truth!!!
