Another ´64 Max Wedge question

I have a question for you guys.. I just got hold of a 64 Sportfury hood and a Max wedge hood scoop. Did the Max wedge cars come with hood trim stock in 1964 or was it an option? I´ve seen pictures of both with and without..

the only max wedge cars that came with a hood scoop were the aluminum front end package one's , if it was a steel front end then it could have had the hood trim.

Agree with silversedan. I got the short hood trim for my mine along with the hemi scoop. Looks good in my opinion. Maybe not factory correct but period correct. You could order the scoop in 64 through some dealers as an option but they would put them in the trunk of your car. You had to install yourself since it wasn't a "factory option"
