Another one found we will call it the Henry's Dart

Interesting paint code is T5 bronze and car is bronze but under the hood id dark blue.
I thought that too when I saw the first pics before talking to him and seeing the car. The engine bay was painted flat black. The car was repainted metallic brown over the T5. The bottom of the trunk lid and door jams show original paint.

I'll be posting better pics once I get it home.

Going back in the morning to pick it up. Car was stored on wooden blocks, all four tires took and held air. Lowered it off the blocks. Brakes are free, car in neutral, couldn't get it to go in gear. Clutch must be stuck. Put a breaker bar on the crankshaft pully bolt and the engine moved so it's not stuck. No rust. Never have seen a underside of a car look so clean. No rust other than the exhaust. No oil just clean metal.
If the engine isn't running the clutch being stick wouldn't matter....Could be the synchros just aren't wanting to mesh with the engine not running... Get it oiled up, clean the fuel system & cooling system, change the oil & get it running, then see what it does.... Probably aught to go through the hydraulic side of the brakes as well... Change the gear oil in the trans too..

Yup, going to start at the beginning. Drop the tank, drain and inspect. More than likely order a new tank. Blow out and inspect the fuel lines. Change oil, change oil in the trans, new points and plugs, wires and cap and rotor. Rebuild the carb. And the engine should fire. Radiator is empty, don't know if the dad drained it or it leaked out. Fill and test. Once running full brake rebuild (manual drums). Then address the clutch.

Good idea, if nothing else i will stop by and talk with him at carlisle.

I take that back, the car is too nice to call it turd. Maybe tootsie roll.
Yeah, I was thinking the same... Not the Tootsie Roll part but..... Just call it Henry's.... Root Beer... Brown..

Changed the thread title. Thank's @1 Wild R/T .
When I first talked to the last owner he said it was repainted a Root-Beer brown
So now It's officially called the Henry's Dart.

Reading along, Great find and it looks really good.

Previous owner wiped it down. Paint should clean up.

I gave Henry a bath, cleaned up nice. Tried a little wax on a small section. A little brown color came off on the rag. But shined up real nice and smooth. I think that means it's an old laqaur paint job.

A little update. Cleaned the fender tags off with a brass wire brush. The code I thought was N25 turned out to be H25 - heater delete.

Pulled the back seat. Found the broadcast sheet. In perfect shape.

The paint shined up with one coat of wax.
