I have a 1973 roadrunner, Do I want 15 inch or 14 inch rims ? Then the size of the tires it will allow?

nothing original when I purchased it, trying to make it a daily driver.

Thanks in advance and Happy Thanksgiving

15" all day, or larger w the correct aspect ratio. 14's are getting harder to find and to get the right diameter on a 14" requires a skinny 78 series or a "Very" wide 50 series. Use this to figure out aspect ratio/diameter to rpm speed.

The only thing I own that has 14s on it is my car trailer, and finding tires for it is a bit@#.
100% 15s (or bigger, like Diesel said). 15x7 on the front, 15x8 or 8 1/2 rear, or either size all around. Fuselage body rr's have huge wheelwells that don't look right without lots of tire.

Thanks it difficult to tell, I just wanted to see what I should do without hitting rear fender

Like the other replies, 15" is the way to go. Many, many choices on sizes/qualities/brands etc. Plus you can run the 11.75" front rotors. 14's are limited there. Best to have the most brake possible. And 14's are going the way of the Dodo.

15x7, 235/60/15, or 245/60/15 for the front. 15x8 or 8.5 with 275/60/15 rear is the go to size because it’s perfect. Some dare to go with a 15x10, idk how that works in that rear car though, it’ll definitely fill the space!

Forgot another plus for 15's. Way more wheel variety to choose from.

Another one for the 15” all around. My Charger runs 255/70/15 on American Racing 15x8 on all 4 and this fills the opening and gives great ride and response.
