I like some of the earlier Beatles stuff, play some on the guitar. Not so much the later Beatles, McCartney, Wings, etc.

I've seen hm twice over the past 7 years. Once with my wife & again with my oldest son. He's been with his current back up band now longer than he was in the Beatles.

I was a fan of the Beatles until George died....

I like the McCartney solo albums and the Wings albums. I like the George Harrison solo stuff too. The later Beatles albums are the best, with Revolver being my favorite. It's the Lennon albums and Ringo's country crap that I'll never like. Paul and George were the genius behind the Beatles more than Lennon, and especially more than Ringo. McCartney is a true showman and his sound has remained steady.

One of the greatest of all time imo. I personally like the later Beatles albums the best - but they are all good.

Always been a fan of The Beatles, and all of the individual member's solo releases. The last time all four collaborated with writing and singing on the same album was the 1973 'RINGO' album which has some great songs.

I remember in the 80's reading about some girls in a record store looking through albums, and one says "hey look, Paul McCartney was in another band before Wings"...:sFun_doh2:

Let's face it; a drummer is just a guy who hangs out with the musicians.

I think Lennon was more instrumental in the group's success in the early years & more so Paul in the later years. It was probably Paul's taking command of "John's band" after John lost interest in it that eventually drove them apart.

I think you're right. And George's world missions and hanging with Ravi Shankar contributed as well.

Paul is probably kicking himself for ever introducing John to Yoko. What John saw in that misfortune cookie is beyond me.

This explains Yoko perfectly, but beforewarned that there's plenty of humorous F-bombs....
