Any info on a "special" 2013 Dodge Charger SRT Hemi?

For 2013 they are bringing back the charger Daytona, but it is based off of the R/T model, which has the 5.7 hemi. Basically just an appearance package with different wheels, available Daytona blue paint, etc, nothing really performance oriented besides a different gear ratio of 3.06.

For the srt versions with the 470 hp producing 392 hemi, the super bee option is still available which allows you to get big engine and performance for under $45k, you just don't get all the other upgrades like navigation, leather, adaptive cruise, etc.

I could talk about this all day!

There is a white 2013 Super Bee SRT8 Charger here at our local dealer, in fact, they have two

Here are a few pics of my 2011 Charger, its the Mopar11 edition which is a numbered car with all kinds of mopar goodies.

Numbered. What's that mean. It has a big number plastered on it?

They only made 1500 of them, mine is number 802. They did the Mopar edition challenger in 2010, charger in 2011, the 300 in 2012, and for 2013 they are using the dart unfortunately, a lot of people were hoping they'd use the ram.

There's also a "Blacktop" version with zero chrome.

Big whoop-dee-doo. In 3 months they'll have yet another special or limited edition model for the dealers to try to gouge an "adjusted market value" cost on it.

your too funny Dick... always so cynical & predicktable too...

Are they gonna offer the new supercharged hemi in it? It will be available in the Challenger.

That 6.7 Litre Hemi Charger sounds good to me. Made an appt. last week at a nearby dealership to view the latest charger SRT8.

Roadbird;
That is the car I'm going to look at.
The SRT8
6.4 L
(390 CI)
470 HP
5-speed automatic
But a hefty price tag
$54K BOOK
$47K "on-sale"
Color I'm looking at is "All White"

Did you check it out?

Check out the super bee, it comes in either white or black. You get the 392 hemi but you also get to keep some of your wallet.

Regardless, they are great cars. Nothing else close to it in terms of performance and styling at that price point. The "chargers don't have 4 doors" people can go play in traffic.

I gotchya. That's cool. I like the stripe too. I usually don't go for euro stuff, but that's cool.

To me, the Challenger comes close in terms of performance and styling at that price point. :)

Speaking of the latest Mopar offerings... I was watching the latest Mecum and the topic of the new 'cuda came up. The announcers claimed that in 2014 a 'cuda would be reintroduced. Not wearing Dodge badging, but just SRT badging. I had heard that as well about a possible Roadrunner return using SRT badging. No other details... Just that SRT would step in since Plymouth is no longer in existance to bring these models back.

Umm we are talking about 4 door cars here, and obviously the challenger would come close since they have then same engine offerings. I meant from other brands, would you rather have: a Taurus, impala, a Buick? If you want or need 4 doors and don't want to drive a boring *** car, the charger is the only thing you can get with 370 hp, for around $30k, and they top off close to $50k for the SRT.

About the supposed barracuda, it looks like that has been pushed to the 2015 model year. Original reports said it would replace the challenger, but that's not true. The SRT brand will release the barracuda and the challenger will get a revamp that year as well. There hasn't been any real pics of the barracuda yet, only what some idiot on a computer thinks it will look like, but rumor has it it will have a new supercharged 6.2 hemi :)
